And it came to pass, when Ahab^H256 saw^H7200 Elijah,^H452 that Ahab^H256 said^H559 unto him, Is it thou, thou troubler^H5916 of Israel?^H3478

And the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 said^H559 unto Jehoshaphat,^H3092 there is yet one^H259 man^H376 by whom we may inquire^H1875 of Jehovah,^H3068 Micaiah^H4321 the son^H1121 of Imlah:^H3229 but I hate^H8130 him; for he doth not prophesy^H5012 good^H2896 concerning me, but evil.^H7451 And Jehoshaphat^H3092 said,^H559 Let not the king^H4428 say^H559 so.

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 the Redeemer^H1350 of Israel,^H3478 [and] his Holy One,^H6918 to him whom man^H5315 despiseth,^H960 to him whom the nation^H1471 abhorreth,^H8581 to a servant^H5650 of rulers:^H4910 Kings^H4428 shall see^H7200 and arise;^H6965 princes,^H8269 and they shall worship;^H7812 because of Jehovah^H3068 that is faithful,^H539 [even] the Holy One^H6918 of Israel,^H3478 who hath chosen^H977 thee.

But^G1161 when^G1492 the chief priests^G749 and^G2532 the scribes^G1122 saw^G1492 the wonderful things^G2297 that^G3739 he did,^G4160 and^G2532 the children^G3816 that were crying^G2896 in^G1722 the temple^G2411 and^G2532 saying,^G3004 Hosanna^G5614 to the son^G5207 of David;^G1138 they were moved with indignation,^G23

And^G2532 when^G191 the chief priests^G749 and^G2532 the Pharisees^G5330 heard^G191 his^G846 parables,^G3850 they perceived^G1097 that^G3754 he spake^G3004 of^G4012 them.^G846

And^G2532 they were astonished^G1605 at^G1909 his^G846 teaching:^G1322 For^G1063 he^G2258 taught^{G1321 G2258} them^G846 as^G5613 having^G2192 authority,^G1849 and^G2532 not^G3756 as^G5613 the scribes.^G1122

for^G1063 Herod^G2264 feared^G5399 John,^G2491 knowing^G1492 that he^G846 was a righteous^G1342 and^G2532 holy^G40 man,^G435 and^G2532 kept^G4933 him^G846 safe. And^G2532 when he heard^G191 him,^G846 he was much^G4183 perplexed;^G4160 and^G2532 he heard^G191 him^G846 gladly.^G2234

And^G2532 they sought^G2212 to lay hold^G2902 on him;^G846 and^G2532 they feared^G5399 the multitude;^G3793 for^G1063 they perceived^G1097 that^G3754 he spake^G2036 the parable^G3850 against^G4314 them:^G846 and they left^G863 him,^G846 and^G2532 went away.^G565

And^G2532 all^G3956 bare^G3140 him^G846 witness,^G3140 and^G2532 wondered^G2296 at^G1909 the^G3056 words^G3056 of grace^G5485 which^G3588 proceeded^G1607 out of^G1537 his^G846 mouth:^G4750 and^G2532 they said,^G3004 Is^G2076 not^G3756 this^G3778 Joseph's^G2501 son?^G5207

And^G2532 the scribes^G1122 and^G2532 the chief priests^G749 sought^G2212 to lay^G1911 hands^G5495 on^G1909 him^G846 in^G1722 that very^G846 hour;^G5610 and^G2532 they feared^G5399 the people:^G2992 for^G1063 they perceived^G1097 that^G3754 he spake^G2036 this^G3778 parable^G3850 against^G4314 them.^G846

So^G3767 from^G575 that^G1565 day^G2250 forth^G575 they took counsel^G4823 that^G2443 they might put^G615 him^G846 to death.^G615

And^G2532 if^G1487 any man^G5100 desireth^G2309 to hurt^G91 them,^G846 fire^G4442 proceedeth^G1607 out of^G1537 their^G846 mouth^G4750 and^G2532 devoureth^G2719 their^G846 enemies;^G2190 and^G2532 if^G1487 any man^G5100 shall desire^G2309 to hurt^G91 them,^G846 in this manner^G3779 must^G1163 he^G846 be killed.^G615
